Our History

Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Thrift Stores first opened its doors in Kansas City on 16th and Main in 1958. Since then, the name has evolved to Red Racks Thrift Stores with more than 10 locations open across Missouri. We operate six locations around the Kansas City Area, one in St. Joseph, three in the Springfield Area, and two locations in the Joplin Area. We have hundreds of donation bays to accommodate donations throughout the state of Missouri. Help support a great cause today!
